Villa Grimaldi

        Villa Grimaldi is an antique restored farmhouse of 200 years perfect for those who want to enjoy the real Rural Tourism in Andalucia. The house is settled in a privileged area close to the mountains, sea and country. Villa Grimaldi  is located in the Natural Park del Estrecho in Tarifa. There are two famous beaches that can be easily reached in 5 minutes driving:The Bolonia beach (which used to be an antique Roman harbour) and the beach called "Las Dunas de Punta Paloma". Very tastefully furnished throughout Villa Grimaldi,  provides a high level of comfort. The central part of the house has three living rooms and is very complete with  two open fireplace, satellite-tv, ADSL wifi, DVD and music equipment. The 2 kitchen is very well equipped with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven and the necessary kitchenware to prepare all type of meals. The 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms offer space to 14 persons and are designed in a rustic style with a terracotta or wooden floor, beamed ceilings and outside views. One of the rooms has a half open plan design and blends ambiance with the lounge room downstairs, providing a nice architectural curiousity. One of the six bathrooms has been built in the former kitchen of this shepherd’s house where the natural stone bread oven remains in its memory. The central patio provides a lot of light to the interior of the house whilst its plants give a pleasant smell and freshness. A secondary road connects Betis with the national road  N-340. Villa Grimaldi is 7 minutes by car from Tarifa, 45 minutes from Gibraltar airport, 1 hour from Jerez airport, 1 hour and 30 minutes from Malaga Airport and 1 hour and 45 minutes from Seville airport. Tarifa is famous for great windsurfing and for its wide, golden beaches with clear blue waters. The spacious, lawned gardens of more then 5000 square metres offer three different levels with 2 attractive private pools(10m by 5m and 8m by 4m) and sauna on the lowest level. Absolute privacy is guaranteed by the natural stone wall that completely surrounds the garden. Those looking for some shade from the midday sun, will especially enjoy the beautiful shelter with terracotta floors and beamed ceilings. Sun loungers are provided. Adjacent to the house you’ll find a relaxing 3 verandah with excellent views.
