Waking up to the sound of birds singing and the atlantic
waves breaking on a nearby beach must surely be an idyllic
way to start the day. During breakfast on one of the open
air terraces, enjoy the uninterrupted views down to the sea
and across to the African coast then take a leisurely 4
minute stroll down a sandy lane lined with high canes to the
nearby and almost private beach with crystal clear waters
and fine golden sand. Enjoy walking along kilometres of
beautiful fine golden sand through secluded bays and rocky
coves with an occasional dip in the ocean. Then wind your
way back along one of the many paths higher up through the
pine forests in time for a barbeque in the shade of the
garden. This is the tiny hamlet of Punta Paloma and with the
nearest main road 3k away it is hard to imagine a more
idyllic location. Stock up with food from nearby
supermarkets in Tarifa only 10 mins away by car and enjoy
completely stress-free days surrounded by nature. Activities
include scuba diving (there are several clubs in Tarifa),
snorkelling and of course wind and Kite surfing for which
Tarifa has become synomomous. Pony trekking and horse riding
etc.
